What is “Interview”? Why is it conducted?

Interview is the process to selecting right candidate who fulfills the requirements, eligibility and qualification for desired work profile.
Interview is the crucial and critical stage of any recruitment process which decides the selection or rejection of the candidates. The main objective of Interviews is to test the skills like technical reasoning, communication skills, practical application of engineering methodology, personality development, positive attitude, presentation techniques and time management.

Technical Round:
This round tests the technical capability of the candidates. The technical interests depend on company’s profile and their specialization.

Current National & International Affairs:
This round is conducted to test the general awareness of the candidates with respect of current market trends, society and international issues.

Group Discussion Round:
GD round is conducted to test the capabilities like leadership qualities, team spirit, group coordination, communication skills, convincing ability, patience level, resource utilization.

Psychological or Psychometric Interview Round:
This round is conducted to judge the analyzing techniques and mental psychology of the candidates with respect to various normal and abnormal situations or conditions

Human Resources/Relation (HR) Round:
HR round is conducted to interact with candidates and to test the attitude and behavior of the candidate. Also candidate are informed about professional ethics, long tem association with the company, company’s policies.
